A sign is an object, quality, event, or entity whose presence or occurrence indicates the probable presence or occurrence of something else. A natural sign bears a causal relation to its object—for instance, thunder is a sign of storm, or medical symptoms a sign of disease. A conventional sign signifies by agreement, as a full stop signifies the end of a sentence; similarly the words and expressions of a language, as well as bodily gestures, can be regarded as signs, expressing particular meanings. The physical objects most commonly referred to as signs (notices, road signs, etc., collectively known as signage) generally inform or instruct using written text, symbols, pictures or a combination of these. Signs are any kind of visual graphics created to display information to a particular audience. This is typically manifested in the form of wayfinding information in places such as streets or on the inside and outside buildings. Signs vary in form and size based on location and intent, from more expansive banners, billboards, and murals, to smaller street signs, street name signs, sandwich boards and lawn signs. Newer signs may also use digital or electronic displays. The main purpose of signs is to communicate, to convey information designed to assist the receiver with decision-making based on the information provided. Alternatively, promotional signage may be designed to persuade receivers of the merits of a given product or service. Signage is distinct from labeling, which conveys information about a particular product or service.

Tin is a soft, malleable, ductile and highly crystalline silvery-white metal. When a bar of tin is bent a crackling sound known as the “tin cry” can be heard from the twinning of the crystals. Tin melts at about 232 °C (450 °F) the lowest in group 14. The melting point is further lowered to 177.3 °C (351.1 °F) for 11 nm particles. Commercial grades of tin (99.8% tin content) resist transformation because of the inhibiting effect of small amounts of bismuth, antimony, lead, and silver present as impurities. Alloying elements such as copper, antimony, bismuth, cadmium, and silver increase the hardness of tin. Tin easily forms hard, brittle intermetallic phases that are typically undesirable. It does not mix into a solution with most metals and elements so tin does not have much solid solubility. Tin mixes well with bismuth, gallium, lead, thallium and zinc forming simple eutectic systems. Tin resists corrosion from water, but can be corroded by acids and alkalis. Tin can be highly polished and is used as a protective coat for other metals, a protective oxide (passivation) layer prevents further oxidation. Tin acts as a catalyst triggering a chemical reaction of a solution containing oxygen and helps to increase the speed of the chemical reaction that results. Therefore, tin signs are very stable in daily life.

Home decoration tin signs include garage metal signs, animal tin signs, food tin signs, wall decoration tin signs, etc. Metal electroplating and electroforming nameplates are also known as gold stacking signs. It is a method of using screen printing or photosensitive plate making to coat the plate and then use electroplating. Let the text and lines pass through the pre-plated, cast copper, nickel, gold-plated books to form raised gold-plated gold medals. It can complete different patterns and texts of various fonts according to the requirements of users. The products are durable and non-corrosive, not afraid of rain and sun, wear-resistant and non-fading. Beautiful and generous, with bright colors, clear patterns and good brightness, it is an indispensable car body sticker for various electronic products, automobiles, household appliances, etc.

The thermal transfer metal sign is a special panel produced by the surface treatment process of the metal plate, and then the color picture you designed is printed on the transfer paper by inkjet printing, and then reversed to the metal plate by heating. 1) Protective layer. It uses 300 mesh screen printing transparent thermal transfer ink (you can use diluent to dilute to a suitable viscosity if the ink viscosity is too large), and print the entire pattern with transparent ink, which is mainly used to protect the pattern layer and make it wear-resistant and durable. It is chemically resistant to washing, and acts as a positioning pattern. It can be dried naturally or at low temperature; 2) Pattern layer. The pattern layer can be printed with thermal transfer color ink once, and the screen mesh used is 300 meshes. The viscosity can be adjusted with diluent according to the actual situation. The order of printing is mainly based on the color from dark to light. Pay attention to the accurate positioning, so as to avoid deviation when printing the luminous pattern. It can be dried naturally or at low temperature; 3) Light-emitting layer. The luminescent material and the transparent thermal transfer ink are formulated into a luminescent ink at a ratio of 1:1, and the viscosity is adjusted with a diluent; 4) Overlay. Since the pattern is printed with a luminescent material, a white reflective layer must be printed after the pattern to add a personalized effect. We used a white thermal transfer ink to screen-print an overlay over the entire pattern with a print overcoat; 5) Adhesive layer. Finally, use a 100-200 mesh screen to print the hot melt adhesive layer to ensure that the entire pattern is covered. Mainly used for bonding patterns and fabrics; 6) Packaging of signs. Pack the dried thermal transfer logo with packaging film and place it flat.

Store decoration tin signs include motorcycle tin sign, vintage metal tin sign, vintage decoration metal signs, warning metal signs, etc. A warning sign is a type of sign which indicates a potential hazard, obstacle, or condition requiring special attention. Some are traffic signs that indicate hazards on roads that may not be readily apparent to a driver. While warning traffic sign designs vary, they usually take the shape of an equilateral triangle with a white background and thick red border. In the People’s Republic of China (except for Macau and Hong Kong), they appear with a black border and a yellow background . In Sweden, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Finland, Iceland, North Macedonia and Poland, they have a red border with an amber background. The polar bear warning sign in Svalbard recently changed from displaying a black bear on white background to a white bear on black background (both signs are triangular with a red border). Some countries (like France, Norway and Spain) that normally use a white background have adopted an orange or amber background for road work or construction signs. Warning signs in some countries have a diamond shape in place of the standard triangular shape. In the United States, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, most of South America, and also the Republic of Ireland (diverging from the standards of the rest of Europe) use warning signs are black on a yellow background and usually diamond-shaped, while temporary signs (which are typically construction signs) are black on an orange background. Some other countries also use these standards for some signage.
