Pipe fittings are the process where we divert the flow of the water by using piping components like tees, elbows, etc. In pipe fittings, we change the pipe sizes by using reducing tees, reducers, etc. Here, we use coupling to connect the flow of water and caps to stop the water.
Stainless steel high pressure pipe fittings are completely designed for service in wet environments. This grade has excellent workability in terms of intergranular attacks. The SS high pressure pipe fittings can be exposed in a crevice and pitting corrosion in environments that contain a high level of reducing agents.Stainless steel is an excellent choice for hydraulic adapters and hose ends. Stainless steel is incredibly strong and corrosion resistant. It is an alloy of steel that contains more than 10.5% chromium. The chromium in stainless steel provides increased resistance to oxidation, and the resistance increases as the ratio of chromium to steel increases. The corrosion resistance in stainless steel hydraulic fittings is due to the formation of a self-repairing layer of chromium oxide on the surface of the stainless steel. Because stainless steel is corrosion resistant, stainless steel fittings are an ideal choice for applications where the hydraulic fluid or the environment is corrosive. Stainless steel is also much tougher than carbon steel at lower temperatures.
Stainless steel compression tube fittings are a mechanism used both to seal and to grip tubing. The mechanical advantage and geometry of this kind of fitting produces a leaktight assembly. 316L stainless steel pipe fittings adopt high grade stainless steel and sealing materials, the fittings can be rapid installed and disassembled.
Stainless steel beverage fittings made of stainless steel are durable, reusable and perform better over time than plastic fittings, which can deteriorate and leak. The fittings are precision-tooled for consistently clean welds and sharp barbs, ensuring a tight fit without leakage under pressure. The stainless steel fittings are made from a combination of 303 and 304 materials. Type 303 is certified to either ASTM A581/A582 or AMS 5640 and type 304 is certified to AMS 5639 or ASTM A479.
Pressure gauge accessories are mechanical devices used in the hook up of a pressure gauge or transmitter to minimise any potentail damage to the pressure measuring instrument from the process fluid being measured. Pressure gauges and differentail pressure instruments are mechanical pressure measuring instruments used to measure gauge pressure, absolute pressure or differential pressure. Although relatively robust, they are susceptible to damage from the process being measured e.g. too much pressure, extreme temperatures, pulsating pressure etc. To help mitigate the likliehood of damage pressure gauge manufacturers and suppliers offer a wide range of accessories that can be installed with the gauge.
Pressure test plug can be used to cap open ended pipes, pipe spools and piping systems and remove the need to fit flanges/ blind flanges which is the traditional way to hydro-statically test and eliminates the need for hot work and consequent permits. It’s a fast-track, proven high pressure testing system for hydro-testing short or long span pipework or spools. And also, it’s a fast-track proven system for hydro-testing in-situ valves or retro-fit valves.
A pressure snubber is an ancillary component with a small profile that is attached to the pressure sensor. It limits the fluid’s rate of pressure change by restricting the fluid flow through a smaller fitting. As fluid flow is limited, the sudden pressure rise is delayed downstream as fluid needs time to pass through the restriction.
Pressure syphon tube protects your pressure instrument, gauge, switch and transmitter from high temperature process fluids. Syphon tube is used to protect those directly coming in contact with high temperature process fluids or vapors. This reduces steam or other process media temperature prior to enter into the instrument.
Most ball valve actuators are of the quick-acting type, which require a 90° turn of the valve handle to operate the valve. Other ball valve actuators are planetary gear-operated. This type of gearing allows the use of a relatively small handwheel and operating force to operate a fairly large valve. Some ball valves have been developed with a spherical surface coated plug that is off to one side in the open position and rotates into the flow passage until it blocks the flow-path completely. Seating is accomplished by the eccentric movement of the plug. The valve requires no lubrication and can be used for throttling service.
